Topics Covered:  CPR for Adults, Children and Infants, AED (automated external defibrillator) use, the relief of choking adults, children, and infants, the use of barrier devices (masks) for all ages.

Intended Audiences: 

1)      Community Members who have the responsibility to respond to cardiac emergencies due to job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.  Such as but not limited to:  Boy/Girl Scout Leaders, Camp Leaders, Church Leaders, Adult Foster Care Workers, Fitness Employees, Worksite & Industrial Responders, Security Staff.  Ideal for employee training at companies, corporations, businesses or other entities.

Topics Covered:  Adult, Child, and Infant CPR (including two rescuer scenarios), and use of the bag valve mask (BVM) and barrier devices, foreign body airway obstructions, and the AED (automated external defibrillator).

Recertification class is only offered to those holding a current BLS card less than 24 months old.   Reciprocity and renewal is available for those holding a similar current card through the American Red Cross.
